About
Laidback Lee Design was founded by Stephanie Ferrara following more than a decade working across interior design, editorial styling, and the homewares industry. With an Honours degree in Design from UNSW Art & Design, Stephanie has built a studio that brings together architecture, interiors and design under one roof, grounded in the belief that the most beautiful spaces are also made to be lived in.
Today, Stephanie leads a team of architects and designers with years of experience across both residential and commercial projects. From full-scale renovations and new builds to hospitality, bespoke joinery, styling and everything in between, our team brings the expertise to take a project from initial concept through to completion.
No matter the scale or brief, we approach every project with the same considered eye, creating spaces that feel layered, refined and distinctly personal. Sophisticated, but never overworked. Beautiful, but always functional. This is our signature laidback approach.
